Andrew called and asked me how I was and if I already narrowed down my search. My broken legs are itching like crazy in the cast, otherwise I am fine. And no, I didn’t come to a conclusion at all with my planned purchase. But I am getting bored being stuck at home. Christmas is only a couple of days away. I am alone and would really like to be able to entertain myself, have a nice equipment to listen to music and watch my favorite movies. “Traffic” and “Mr. Smith goes to Washinton” would be on top of the list. Andrew told me that he just purchased the Yamaha YSP1000 Sound Projector. “That’s like listening to music in a total new dimension”, he said. I did a little bit more research on the web, and this awesome the Bose Home Theater System 321 caught my attention. But unfortunately it exceeds my budget. The search goes on!

These last couple of days have been kind of an ordeal. I am stuck at home and I can’t move. I am not kidding: both of my legs are broken because of a silly ski accident in Mammoth. As the world’s biggest movie buff I love to see my favorite flix at the movie theater - preferably at the Arclight here in Hollywood - but that’s impossible now. Andrew, a friend of mine, recommended that I should look into buying a home theater system as a christmas gift to myself. He told me to go online and do some price comparison shopping. And indeed I was able to find a huge selection of great home theater systems under 500 Dollars. That’s the amount of money I would like to spend, unless I find a great deal on a high-end product. I definitely would like to do more research. Wouldn’t it be ironic if this ski incident could become the reason for a great new addition to my outdated home entertainment equipment?
