Home entertainment automation
The future looks bright - at least for the fan of home entertainment. Apparently at the world’s biggest consumer electronics show (CES) which is currently going on in Las Vegas, everything is about home automation. It’s not totally new, I learned, but the difference ist that this year the companies seem to be marketing home home automation in bite-size pieces and affordable packages to reach homeowners who couldn’t dream of affording integrated automation systems in the past. By using wireless technology, many of the systems can start with one light control or a thermostat control. And the great thing is - many of this starter kits cost only 100 to 200 dollars.
I wish I would have one of this device right know. I hardly can move around with my legs in casts. So for example if I would buy an Onkyo Home Theater System or this great-looking Sony DAV-DX255 I would remain seated in my cozy leather chair and control all my favorite devices without moving one single inch.
